Format and mod requirements are different
A Create NBT schematic may contain only vanilla blocks. Check the creator’s notes and parsed block namespaces to see whether the build needs Create and any add-on mods.
Use a schematic in Create
Put a compatible file in your game instance’s schematics folder and load it with the Schematic Table or the relevant mod interface. A Schematicannon needs materials and an available building area. Follow the instructions for your Create version.
Test mechanical builds in game
A structure preview does not simulate a working machine. Check speed, stress capacity, fluid and item inputs, and Create/add-on versions. Test block entity data after conversion to another format.
Common questions
Can I convert a Create schematic to Litematica?
Supported Create NBT files can be converted to .litematic. The overlay does not simulate machines, and builds containing Create blocks still need the relevant mods.
Does every NBT schematic contain modded blocks?
No. File format and build content are separate. Create’s format can store vanilla buildings, so the .nbt extension alone does not identify mod dependencies.
